Gran Colombia Tours is a travel agency started by two young entrepreneurs invested in showing Colombia’s beauty and potential to the world by thoroughly informing tourists and generating unforgettable and positive experiences.
The name of the travel agency comes from the name used by historians to refer to the old Republic of Colombia which encompassed today’s Ecuador, Colombia, Venezuela, and Panamá until the mid-XIX century. Gran Colombia was a great, unifying the Latin American dream that was unfulfilled, but its legacy is still alive in the histories and culture of Northern South America.
Currently, Gran Colombia Tours offers free and private tours in 9 cities (Bogotá, Cartagena, Cali, Medellín, Santa Marta, Salento, Filandia, Pereira and Armenia) and is working of becoming a nation-wide travel agency with tours in Colombia’s biggest cities and major tourist sites
