If you are wanting to take your Colombian trip to the next level, join us in this fantastic paragliding experience over Medellin. Challenge yourself on this 3.5-hour tour and create exciting memories Whether you are experienced or a beginner, in your 15 to 20 minutes fly over Medellin, you could ask for an easy-going mode or an acrobatic mode, it is all up to you. We will make sure you fly free through our Colombian skies.
Warning: this is a plan for nature and adventure lovers and for every single person who wants to give it a try. Paragliding over Medellin is one of the most exciting adventures one could undertake. You will have private transportation back and forth and all the necessary equipment to have an unforgettable flight.
Our driver will pick you up at your chosen location on time. From there you will cross the city looking for the northwest exit. On your way there, you will cross by San Cristóbal one of Medellín small towns. And after taking a curvy road, you will make it to San Félix, a town located at the edge of Medellin western mountains.
The view you can get from San Felix is great. This is a famous place for going to drink hot chocolate at night, and during the day it is the perfect spot for paragliding lovers and all sorts of tourists. Then, you will head to the top of one of the hills, where you will be introduced to the expert paragliding expert. A while after waiting for all the equipment to be ready, the guide will give you the instructions on how to have a safe flight. You will get ready and start flying accompanied for around 15 to 20 minutes over Medellin city, enjoying the fresh air and, if you want, even doing some tricks in the air. Besides, with an extra fee you could get a recording of the flight.
Once you landed, we’ll spend some time in San Félix and then we’ll finish the trip by driving you safely back to the chosen arrival point. Give yourself the chance to do something different this time. We guarantee there won’t be regrets but cherished memories with us.
The most advisable thing is that you wear fresh clothing and a light jacket in case the day gets chill: cotton t-shirts, sneakers, sunglasses, and a cap are the most used items of clothing for this activity. Remember that you will be in the heights, so a jacket is advisable.
The weather in this area tends to be warm but it may change during the day. Average temperature is between 23°C and 30°C. However, the weather while paragliding might be cooler, so we recommend you bringing a warm jacket.
This tour takes place outside Medellín, in an area called San Félix. This is the perfect spot, as it has enough space for the activity, as well as the best views of Medellín’s surroundings.
Previous experience is not necessary. Our professional guide will give you all the instructions and recommendations and all the safety equipment needed. You just have to enjoy the experience.
If you want to have videos and photos of your flight in San Félix, you will have to pay an extra amount. We recommend to save the memories of the experience.
