As a proof of Colombian joyful and happy spirit: there is Tejo. A fun sport of humble origins made to share and laugh with your fellows.

If you want to be part of this unparalleled experience of Colombianness, join us in this private tour and enjoy a thrilling night.

Tejo is the Colombian national sport of throwing rocks at small explosives. It was brought from the countryside to the city. The word Tejo means steel projectile. Tejo or Turmequé is a Colombian game and traditional sport of throwing metal discs to a target that explodes when hit.

In this tour you will meet the guide at your lodge. After the introduction, you will start a 20 minutes driving through the historical center of the city towards the Canchas de Tejo (Tejo field). Once there, the guide will give you all indications and rules to understand how to play it.

A shuffle session may last around 20 minutes but maybe longer if the players so wish and while you play it you will share some Colombian beers.

After two hours of shouting, laughter and throwing stones the guide will take you back to your hotel.

The fun of this – as with other activities – is doing it in good company. Immerse yourself and explore the Colombian roots in the game, and beer, and let us be part of it.
